In September 2019, directly after participation in Railway Interchange-2019, the largest railway forum in North America, the specialists of OKOndt GROUP went to Miami where a practical seminar for the client had been scheduled. Technical staff of Gonzales & Sons, American company, after the purchase of a single rail flaw detector UDS2-77 and a set for rail welds testing USR-01 from OKOndt GROUP needed a training on how to operate the devices. Engineers of OKOndt held both theoretical and practical sessions, our partners tried to work with tools by themselves and stayed satisfied with the results. Specialists of our company promised to conduct further consultations upon request.

Of course, OKOndt GROUP participated in the largest forum in North America dedicated to the railroad industry - the Railway Interchange-2019. Our company was presented as a member of REMSA, we have been a corporate member of REMSA since spring 2019. In the RI-2019 OKOndt GROUP exhibited our ultrasonic single rail flaw detector UDS2-77, the set for the rail welded joints testing USR-01, multifunctional flaw detectors: ultrasonic device Sonocon B and eddy current tool Eddycon C. The booth of OKOndt attracted a lot of attention, we established new business contacts with several American companies and got new inquiries for quality equipment designed for the railroad testing and detection of both manufacturing and in-service defects.

OKOndt Group once again brought together nondestructive testing specialists, scientists, equipment developers and representatives of industrial enterprises in the hospitable conference hall of its building. Nondestructive Testing - 2019 took place in a fruitful atmosphere of professional discussion of vital issues of the industry, exchange of views, hearing of prepared reports. Within the framework of the Conference, a sectional work was also organized and a seminar was held to exchange experience between the NDT Personnel Certification Bodies and Training and Qualification Centers.

Our company featured its products at the world's third largest exhibition of the railway transport, equipment and services. This year, 229 companies exhibited at the Eurasia Rail, and the event welcomed 12,000 attendees. OKOndt GROUP™ demonstrated its ultrasonic and eddy current equipment for rails and welds testing, such as the UDS2-77 and UDS2-73 flaw detection trolleys, the USR-01 kit, portable flaw detectors Sonocon B and Eddycon C that were extremely popular with the visitors of the exhibition!

On March 2019, OKOndt Group™ visited the USA one more time. Our American partners, who purchased the ultrasonic single-rail flaw detector UDS2-77 CR that can be used both for the crane rail and regular rails testing, needed a training on how to operate the equipment. Also OKOndt's specialists held a presentation of the USR-01 kit, which included a practical work on rails with flawed welds. It was a very busy and fruitful business trip — OKOndt Group got other requests for equipment and seminars.

Our partner - Turkish State Railway — at the beginning of 2019, after purchasing the eddy current single rail flaw detector ETS2-77 requested a training to get familiarized with a full range of trolley capabilities in practice. OKOndt engineers came to Izmir, held a theoretical presentation then conducted a practical training on the railway track section and at the metropolitan. Our panthers were satisfied with the NDT equipment, they had bought from our company, stating that it would definitely help them to improve the general condition of country railway tracks.
