The American Society for NDT organized a regular Exhibition and Conference ASNT-2018 on October 28-31, 2018. This year, the Exhibition took place in Houston, TX (USA). The event accommodated over 200 exhibitors. OKOndt Group participated in the event together with OKOndt GROUP LLC (USA), ULTRACON-SERVICE LLC (Ukraine), and ОKO Association (Ukraine).
The subject of the event at which the meetings with our partners and distributors were held included a lot of directions related to the NDT new developments. Numerous visitors of the Exhibition got acquainted with the operation of the represented equipment, made by OKOndt Group. Besides, a true interest to our products was shown by the President of the ASNT Mr. David Mandina, during his visit to OKOndt Group’s stand.
Among the brand new products presented at the event the guests could see:
- TOFD Man Wireless System for the welded joints testing;
- newly refined single-rail Ultrasonic Flaw Detector UDS2-77;
- Eddy-current Flaw Detector Eddycon C designed for the handheld testing for the presence of surface and subsurface defects (cracks, laps, pitting, etc.)
The said device is used in lots of industries, such as aerospace, oil & gas, chemical, power, machinery. The Eddycon C Flaw Detector is an ultimate thing during the field and in-service inspections, it’s very user-friendly in operation.
Under this Exhibition & Conference, OKOndt GROUP held a range of successful meetings with the representatives of world’s leading NDT companies and organizations from the USA, Canada, Peru, Germany, Czech Republic, South Korea, Sudan, and others. The discussion about the NDT issues in different fields of application became one of the vital things within the meetings with our foreign partners. Thus, being one of the leading NDT equipment and technologies developers, we’ve got to a whole new level of the international partnership. Moreover, we emphasized the tasks to be resolved at the earliest.
